Many single ply roofing membranes are prone to shrinkage as they contain plasticizers (oils.) These oils leach out of the membranes over time, causing tension in the membrane which can lead to mechanical damage. Ecofin does not contains plasticizers. It’s stability ensures the longevity of your roof along with a low through life cost.
Following extensive accredited European testing it has been suggested that the ECOFIN membrane could achieve a life expectancy four times longer than traditional roofing system. This is reflected in our guarantees which range from 10 ,15, 20 and 25 years.
Ecofin can be welded at temperatures of between 380˚C and 425˚C, allowing for a quick and safe weld in various weather conditions.
Ecofin is compatible with bituminous membranes, asphalt, steel profiling sheeting, asbestos sheeting and other single ply systems. It can also be applied cold onto fire safe insulation boards where there is a risk of fire hazard.

Depths
A standard sedum system when saturated generally weighs between 100 and 110kg/m² and the system depth is 110 mm with a water attenuation capacity of 80% of average rainfall.
Green Roof Systems
